Hey I couldn't resist posting a picture of my new baby. Its a 1968 custom discrete Twelve channel console with a split twelve track return, (formerly mated to a scully 1" twelve track). It's got spectrasonic mic pres and line amps, electrodyne 809 eqs, gotham audio faders, langevin attenuators, an emt plate remote and dolby remote built in. Its all stainless steel and weighs a ton. The spectrasonics stuff is has germanium transistors. Does anybody have any experience with them? I understand that the bandwidth is limited.
Thanks,
Peter

that's a coooooool console Mesmer, and the germaniums go with the
ones in your Scully .

I have an RCA preamp schematic that's all ge. It never got manufctured and released for some reason.I built it up on a breadboard and it's a fine
preamp to my ears. It's not noisy either. I'm going to post the schematic soon.

Did you get schematics? What voltage are they running on?
