10 months of planning, layouting, optimizing, testing, soldering, waiting for parts and frontpanels (so long).....

are over and I'm finished with my new SSL type compressor....

this was the biggest and most cost intensive one of all my diy projects...

thank you for all the help... especially jakob...!!

thanks...

no photoshop involved.. ;) just a good camera and daylight

it's not 100db , but 100ma ;) ... 100ma = 30db gain reduction...

I tried to make a good looking scale, but the original sifam scale still looks the best... btw: the chandler doesn't care as well for a correct scale at their 2254 clone...

man that is a great looking compressor. great work! :guinness:

i'm curious about your crush circuit as well..

super work and great inspiration! :thumb:

any new projects in the pipeline?
After this, you can't stop

Are those socket head's just for looks? Or are they actualy part of the chassis, holding the front panel inplace...

Either way they look gooood.

@radiance: I go these black screws from farnell , I think... of course are they holding the front panel...

@keith: maselec stuff looks damn great... !!! so I couldn't wait to get this sifam knobs and meters... ;)
