Came across several Langevin 116B Amplifiers, and a few 117A Amplifiers, wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction for some info on them -- schematics, pinouts, etc.

I am wondering what I might be able to use these for - I already have some 251 eq's and some 5116B's, thot maybe these might be cool for something too.

Thanks,

Aaron

117A is a fantastic sounding monitor amp when used with a suitable step down transformer like a UTC LS-33, but I wasn't as impressed when used for mic or line amp purposes. Still not bad. 116's sound good. God help you if you don't have the connectors.

thanks for all the info NYD

-- connectors -- oh yeah - those things -- that go on all the little pins.... I don't have a single one.......

hhmm - well, I *do* have spare time -- and a Spectra Sonics eq project that has been sitting around for quite a while - - 20 passive 3 band Eq's - - that have been in a closet for years, all they need is a make-up gain amp. I will design and test some - - there might be a few for sale.

here's a version of the 117A I drew before I ever found the official version:

Here's a set of four in original Langevin rack I made a front panel for, and wired up as mic pre's. The ladder attenuator on the output can be switched completely out, connected as load only, or fully in circuit.

Hello

we are wondering if there is any info available about the Langevin 118A amplifier. We are coming up with nothing in our online search.

Thanks!
