Never thought I’ll do this but the parts are sitting in the corner for way too long and I’ll probably never gonna finish it…
So here it goes.
An almost complete kit to build two 1084 clones.
The project started with member bluzzi’s PCB project but I ditched that and bought vintage style PCB’s. That’s why there are some functions on the Faceplate which are not part of the original circuit like DI input etc... But I think these can still be incorporated.
Here are the main parts:
2x complete Blore Ed switch sets and two used Elma gain switches
2x complete knob sets including concentric dual knobs
2x complete 1084 PCB sets
26x BC184C transistors
5x BC549C transistors
2x RCA 2N3055 transistors
2x complete 1084 inductor sets (except one missing 9044 inductor)
2x Carnhill VTB9046
2x Carnhill VTB9045
1x Carnhill VTB9049
1x JLM Audio JLM111DC
Many vintage mustard caps
Many Styroflex caps
Many tantalum caps
I think all other parts like resistors and some elco caps are there but not 100% sure. There are many other parts like relays, screws, switch caps, diodes…
I don’t have the connectors for the PCB’s. But I think you can get them cheap on eBay.
The two transistor heatsinks for the 2N3055 can not be used when you want to build it sandwich style like the original. They are too large.
Inductors and some mustard caps are already soldered. Most styroflex caps on the picture are just inserted.
The faceplates do fit Modushop cases.
The parts alone are worth more than 1.000,- Euro.
So I think 700,- Euro plus shipping is a fair price.
The parts are located in Germany.
But willing to ship worldwide.
