OK! The winner is the Tran$isent De$igner!! :green:

hehe,

Well, the to do list is bigger now...

The favorites were:

- 553 eq
- helios eq
- PRR vari-mu
- reeeed47

I will be working during the next couple of month on

- SpectraSonic 101 (cheap and easy)
- Reeeed 47
- PRR varimu with discrete opamp output ( can I?)
- what and forssell sidechain-only boards (50% already done)

and collection more info about the helios, like, we need to settle about its inductors and transformers and swicthes and... ya know. :)

553 is almost done by Elco, right??

LA3 and La4 got a lot of votes but since we have the What and Forssell opto, I think would be nice to make something else...

cheers!
Fabio

Wow! That's coool. Especially PRR's vari-mu! I was wondering since the beginning that no one was looking for pcb's. It is one of the first and most tempting DIY designs mentioned this place and cheap, easy and mastering oriented. Tweaking up to +4dB would make it to a very very useful original project...
If PRR is ok with this, this would be an excellent choice.

The sidechain boards are very useful, too!
So we have all the freedom possible to build unique and original compressors in highest quality out of building blocks.
Excellent, excellent.... :thumb:

Kind regards

+1. Those are looking like my next projects if they get off the ground. I have a good preamp and a few compressors, it's time for EQ. :thumb:

Dudes,

After someone broke into my house last Friday I decide to move to a new place so expect some delay on the new stuff I am working on...

cheers,
Fabio

aw man fabio,
sorry to hear that your sanctuary got broken into.
that just really sucks!
i hope you are well and take your time with the projects. diy doesn't take priority over life! (oops! maybe i shouldn't have said that...)
take care fabio.

this sucks bigstyle!

we also had a burglar in our house/studios some years ago... , it took me weeks to get over the bad feeling
(even with nothing stolen as the mofo ran into our dog Scooter, who was taking are of the security that night  the burglar left the building with bleeding legs   )

Good luck at your new place Fabio!
