Hi Chaps,
I've got a Night Pro PreQ3 4 channel mic preamp with airband from the original 90s manufacturer. It's a great sounding unit and I believe the circuit is essentially the same as their current 500 series units (except for the power supply of course). Anyway, somewhere along the way there was a fault that shorted out the power supply and it blew. The power supply is now repaired but we can't find the fault on the main board, whenever the PS gets connected to the main board it begins to oscillate and then we disconnect the ps. before it goes in to shutdown. I've contacted Maag who are the current manufacturers and they have offered to repair but that's in the USA and I'm not, so the shipping is prohibitive. Does anybody have a schematic, or any experience with these units that they could share? Thanks.
