This is an all aluminium 3U 290mm deep rack case of a Magnecord tape.

It was configured for mono. Therefore the left VU aperture was fitted with a speaker.

As seen from the pictures the front panel is removable (fixed by four screws) and all the controls and VUs are fitted to the back panel.

The input(s) and output(s) are at the rear and both through RCA for unbalanced  and XLR for balanced connectors. I have removed the XLRs as they were in a bad state. The RCAs are also corroded but can still be cleaned.

The top cover is riveted but the rivets can easily be removed as they are also aluminium and very light type. The bottom cover uses screws and can be removed.

The slot screens are also riveted but if needed can easily be removed too.

However, the whole case is a great platform for a tube based design (even though it was solid state) and particularly for point to point assembly as the bottom cover is removable to allow servicing.

GBP 15.00 plus paypal and shipping takes it off my hands.
