I wanted to remove a stubborn sticker logo on the upper cover of a PSU enclosure for a tube mic and ended up sanding it all down to the raw metal (it was anodized black).

I really like the look of it, so now I’m wondering about my options are if I want to keep it like this (just nice polished metal). Are there alternatives other than to see if I can have it anodised again (clear)? Spray lacquer?

Was it really anodized? That would imply that the enclosure is aluminum, that is usually pretty difficult to remove.
If it truly is aluminum you can just polish it and it will only dull slightly. If it is not aluminum, and you really mean it was for example powder coated steel, that would affect what type of coating you need to protect it.
