NP Elektroakustik was a small Danish company making audio solutions for among others DR, the National Danish Broadcast. Quality is at least on par with NTP, Tore Seem and the big famous German manufacturers. NP is often mistaken for NTP, a more well-known Danish company.

Most of the production was customer-specified mixing consoles, made as one-off products or in very small numbers. Getting documentation and manuals is extremely difficult, so please post anything, you may have.

NP IK42 channel-strip. Schematics and component overlay.
A good example of a channel for a large NP-desk.

It is built on a mainboard with all the knobs and dials. All functions are built as modules on the mainboard. Everything is there. You better print all the files and make your own complete manual.

If you ever come across a full mixer with this input channel, send me a PM. I have lots of files and you might be lucky, that there is something useable for you.

NP IK31 channel-strip Block diagram and component overlay.

Plus mic-line amp, filters and eq.

Interesting to see, that these three schematics are exactly the same as on the IK23 channel strip. An example of two designs that are mostly different in their physical lay-out. The IK31 has the gain controls for mic and line at the bottom right over the fader and the pan control on the top of the channel, where the IK 23 has the more normal lay-out with the gain controls on top of the channel and the pan control at the bottom right over the fader.

If you look at the block diagrams they show exactly the same pin-out for both channels, and the size and form of them are identical also.

NP channelstrip - unknown.

I don´t know which channelstrip, but the schematics belong together. It is an old one - the mic amp has the NTP M100 DOA instead of the later NP M99.

Far from complete.

03.25 Update: This channel was part of a 24/8/2 console. Input channel had the code IK-A

NP microphone amp.

Old design running from a 24V power supply. Uses NTP M100 op-amps instead of the later NP M99
