Wanted Nuvistor 7586 for C12A TESTED

My friend has a C12A with a bad tube.

I was hoping to pick one up that is ready to go for a mic if anyone is offering!

Is the rest of the circuit in good shape? Those are mighty durable tubes. I have the 7586 here, but hey are common on eBay etc. Our current tube tester does not have an option for the nuvistors so they are all new in the box and untested.

Thank you for responding! For some reason I didn’t get a notification. I just received the mics today and am going to test them myself. Thinking I can swap tubes to test.

I figure I’d rather pay more for a burned in, mic grade one (or two) since I’m seeing they have a high rejection rate.

Reseated the tube before I even powered her on. Been on for 3 hours now and there's no noise!

May have been a false alarm after all...
