Hunting for the 87 recreation circuit of the first version of the NT2 I failed and got a second version, the schoeps. The mic pass static through the switches (they changed the switches and the capsule soon after).
The mic and the capsule seems in pristine condition for such old mic so I guess the mic had this issue from the fabric.
I have grounded both switches just in case but still have the same problem, so I guess the switch itself is not a adecuate one for a high impedance. If I cover the plastic part with an aluminium foil inside the head the hum lower, but it don't solve the problem completly (as it does when I cover the switches externally). Any thoughts? Change for different switches? Where to get the right ones?

No shielding in the high impedance area, the closer I take my hand or face to the switches the louder hum. As soon I touch the body of the mic, it dissapears

I couldnt find by eye where and how they were grounded, but it seems that they were. I grounded them by myself just in case, but it solved nothing. Measuring resistance from the metal switch to the ground pin of the xlr, gives me 0,1-0,3 ohm

I think that the problem is the plastic part of the switch.

This thread is also a warning to those who want to buy the old version with that characteristic rectangular switch. The next version had a round plastic one, and the next was a metallic one.
