Last night I was soldering up a dual 22 way ELMA attenuator, a boring fiddly job at the best of times. I got down to the last two resistors and I ran out of solder. That is the first time I remember doing that. About 10 or 15 years ago I bought a lifetimes supply of tin/lead solder but although I thoroughly searched my workshop I could not find it anywhere. In desperation I rummaged through and old tool box and found a tube of Ersin Muluticore that must be 40 years old. It worked a treat.
