Hi Guys,

i was just wondering what you guys used for Patch labelling, Whatever 96 or 48 points, i need it for 48 points but just curious about the Stripes.
I got that Neutrik program that helps doing them, and i also found some Excel spread sheet template, but it was not aligned at all.
Anyway got myself a way to do them using the neutrik program and Corel for packing all needs on an A4 paper.
I found that it could also feet an A3 (a little short but not much) and just need to cut the stripes and no need to join whatever...
and fill the space on the big A3 with different colored stripes and so to be able to modify existing labelling on sticking small pieces or a whole strip and just write on it....

I guess if i want to make it cheap i'll just use A4 stickers paper and voila, but having the paper to be thick could be better, so maybe photo glossy paper and add double sided tape?,
anyway i'm curious of what you guys do most of the time, maybe there's a better way of doing them?

Thanks for the feedbacks

I'm using Canford B-gauge jackfields (1U 2x26) and Canford gives an autocad template for aligning and labeling them. Load that up into corel, print it and it aligns perfectly into that plastic snap-on cover.

I seem to recall I needed to split the long strip to two sides for printing it into A4. But that's was a minor thing and I just taped them together in the middle.

Oh found the link, nice! I'll try that as well.
Too bad i don't have those plastic snap on covers, but it seems Canford carries those as spare parts,
but needs to be screwed on, since i'm using cheap Neutrik NYS-SPP-L1 don't know if it will fit actually, too high  :(

Thanks Kingston.

I always end up making my own template in Pages or similar on my MAC. The different bays all have different spacing, so you need to double check the manufacturers specs.

I split them in half so I can print on an A4 printer, and then slide them under the clear plastic cover on the bay.

Normally I just use regular paper, I think anything more would be too thick to slide under the plastic
