PCB DFM (design for manufacture) online assessment

I just stumbled across this online tool for carrying out a design for manufacture (DFM) assessment of Gerber files:

I don't know how good it is but it certainly threw up a few things with the PCB design of mine that I tried on it. Most of the errors were nigh on incomprehensible though and as far as I could see they did not point to the place on the board where the error occurs.

Perhaps MidnightArrakis would like to comment?

You know what they say about free stuff? You generally get what you pay for.

I started out using tape and exacto knives several decades ago. Computers are so much better.

PS : A DFM check needs to be guided by your specific process limitations. That was a moving target during my decade and a half working inside Peavey.
