That is old news and ultimately  false news that they are closing plants.

The Clarion-Ledger has confirmed Peavey Electronics is not closing additional plants in Mississippi, despite media reports saying the company was moving manufacturing operations overseas.

If you read the first link closely it is a press release from the auctioneer that was hired to sell off a bunch of no longer being used manufacturing equipment... Several news wires picked it up as being some new information from Peavey, but it is just the auctioneer trying to stir up interest.

The press release sounds like they are doing more than selling machinery, but AFAIK they aren't, and some early news reports have already been taken down/corrected.
