blog break...

these little ****** amps are cool, light weight, simple to use, plenty loud, even has overdrive,

just plug it in and go...

except this one don't work,

as if the Black Widow speakers were not awesome enough,

now introducing the Blue Marvel.....wow,  :D

actually , that blue marvel turned out to be less than marvelous, it no make sound,

should have checked it before unbolting the chassis, but hey...

then you would not get to see this one chip wonder up close,

exactly like a 3886 only different,  :eek:

so we will install a speaker and test drive it for a while,

yes we stuck a heat sink on that chip, 15W  is too much for that package without help,

that is all i have for now, unless you want to see a VOX AD50 VT?

I'd already guessed that by the "3.3 Ohms" on the speaker. (OK, and the general aspect of this popular-price product.) Many of the mid-class chip-amps peak around 3 Ohms.

You really can't whine much about the repairability. If you have a nut-driver chucked in your power drill you can have the PCB out in seconds.
