Pesky neutrik latches.

It’s been ages since I had a pcb soldered like this. To get the pcb out you have to remove the latches.
Maybe I am missing something but I can’t find the little part inside you move unlocking the latch for removal.
It’s been so long that it escapes me.

I ran across this video; if your unit has similar XLR connectors to a Behringer X32 it should fly.

Thank you for that. I hadn't seen that before.
This type of connector is used in the UA2192 converter, and without removing the latches the pcb is difficult to remove.

What about the XLR model with a slotted key you turn from the front to latch\unlatch the pin carrier from the shell? Mine won’t turn without risking breaking.

ugh yes, broke the tip of a wiha screwdriver the other day. One problem is they don't really click so its hard to tell if its latched or not. Love the idea but the design is just annoying enough to avoid if possible.

The PCB mounted Neutriks I use just pull out. On mine, the back metal plate will come out too.
