Thanks a lot for the link to the CMT plugins.
If I can route my hardware as an external limiter in Cubase it should do the trick.

Using the free CMT toolbox from LetiMix does an excellent job of measuring threshold, ratio and attack/release curves. It can be a little tricky to set up in the DAW but is a great plugin and easy to use.
