Pot Rack and PSU question

I've already searched the META archive but still had some question:

-M10k Ohm B 22 2

Can I replace this Pot with any 10k lineair Pot?

-M50K Ohm B 17 C

This with any 50k lineair Pot?


I also need a simple (1A?, for a Roland vintage drumcomputer) PCB power supply giving me +15V/-15V/5V/0V . Does anybody have PCB's for this (universal) power supply? Where can I find cheap already build power supplies?

The other thing I need is a 2unit rack. I only know Farnell (europe) to order these things. I couldn't find any European rack supplier in the META pages.

2 unit rack
Look at the Hammond Manufacturing company website and then check the European distributors
I buy mine from
Holt Broadcast
There is also
Canford
etc..
All the electrical retailers call them enclosures and not rack units - that's what threw me originally...
Do a search ont his forum for enclosures and you will get quite a few hits

No, those are probably logaritmic pots (the B comes after the value)

What are they for?

Those are volume potentiometers for my Roland CR8000 drummachine I'm modding.

volume is nearly always log pots. Unless they feed A/D converters
