Problem with CY0032 capsule

Hello, i recently bought some capsule at 797 audio . I have a problem with the CY0032 which output nothing on my "Alice like" circuit .

I know for sure that the problem come from the capsule because if i switch the capsule by another it works fine.

The capsule is not scratch or bump , screws are well tighten , and i even tried to reverse the polarity but still dont work .

Have you ever had a probleme like this ?

I had the same problem with a Rode NT1000 capsule which looks „quite similar“…
Couldn‘t fix it, there was a short somewhere between membrane and backplate, not visible at all

Alice was designed for electret capsule, which the 797 (I assume you meant CY032; they don't list a CY0032) is not. Was the 'other' capsule you tried an electret?

there is a voltage multiplier on my custom Alice circuit , the capsule see about 60Vdc

By the way you can find Cy032 and Cy0032
