PSU upgrade...if it makes anything better?

Hey Guys...just playing around with a thought of upgrading a DC power supply. I will need to changed the filter caps anyway as its 40+ years old now, and wondered if anything else can be done to improve the noise floor, and/or perhaps the headroom/sound? Attached a quick schema of the DC supply...its an old analog mixing board from Yamaha.
