Hi Jakob,

I was thinking if it could be possible to insert a midi to CV convertor to control the SSL.. I was going to try to experimnet with this, just wanted to ask your opinion about it...

Regards

ok...

mainly when you're mixin the difficult thing to go back to are the makeup and treshold... since the other are switches are easy written down... I may try to do it on one ssl...

when u say harder is it because the switches are not voltage controlled right?

another thing the SSL has a GR meter is it possible to include a vu meter in the circuit is it hard to do?

Thanks for your support...

"sorry for the basic questions I'm just a newbie  "

Yes. This would involve a lot of relays.

You'd need two VU-meters, as this unit is stereo. And then it wouldn't fit into a 1U box...

Hey...

Nice idea... :thumb:

Could relays be used inplace of the rotaries mebbe (mcs??). Anyway, MIOS would be ideal for this I think - there a c/v module too...

The relays themselves would be attached to a DOUT module...

They are both lin pots, so they are easy to replace. How many steps are needed? Using the 8-relay boards you would get 256 steps...

Best regards,

Mikkel C. Simonsen

I'm not thecnical enough to do this but I'll try anyway ....if I do progress you guys will be the first to know... :thumb:
