Hi All,
I am planning to rack mount a B Range module and have a question.
On the enclosed schematic R1 calls for a 220k ohm resistor, however
on the module someone has placed a 10k ohm resistor in parallel with
the 220K ohm resistor. Wondering what are the benifits and or draw backs
with such an arrangement.

Many Thanks in Advance

I can't tell much from just the small section but the 10k in parallel is mostly lowering the impedance to ground at that node.

If the signal is cap coupled feeding into there it could result in a higher LF cut off...

It is not capacitor coupled it is fed directly from the module connector, although I plan to feed the input from a Ampex
4580200-01 1:1 bridging transformer.
