Met her once, nice lady.

She was married to both Stokely Carmichael & Hugh Masakela. We had Masakela in for a session the other day, he is a really difficult SOB.

I mastered an album for her husband in 1991 & she came into the studio during a session, lovely calm personality.

We will miss you Mama Afrika. I never had the honor of meeting her, but what a woman!

Very sad-I used to listen to her in Zim all the time. Died right after singing 'Pata Pata'-good way to go!
