I am doing some parts shopping to construct the Gyraf G9 and on the resistor tolerances, I have gathered most of the values I need but the tolerances, I have found, are 2%. The specs call for 5%. This a problem?

Also, I am finding that the Lundahl transformers are a bit on the pricey side if I buy them from a dealer. Any suggestions?

Generally 2% tolerance is better that 5%, so it shouldn't be a problem. As for me I try to use 1% metal film resistors for my projects if it's possible.
Good transformers cost money, I don't think that you'd be able to find any good AND cheap transformer  It's much more like good OR cheap
Anyway, you don't want your DIY stuff to sound like crap, do you?

Many people have used the OEP transformers-do a search. I used Lundahls-I love them. Also, this post and any 'project specific' questions are best put in 'The Lab'.

Welcome!
