Not only is the quality fantastic of the standard 19inch rack cases (I use the 2RU ones for holding my PSUs)..
But I have just had delivered 3 x Custom Made Half Width 2 RU Rack Units (8.5 inches)
I am mounting these vertically like channel strips - with the rack strip mounted at the top and bottom of a yet to be made custom wooden desk...
Trust me - trying to find half width racks in the UK is impossible - Hammond make them - but withdrew all their stock from the UK last year when none sold...
I asked them not to do any finishing (to keep the cost down)
They are also making 1RU and 3RU units for me when I want them - minimum order is 3... price per 3 is just over a ton...
