Radar Digital Noises

Hey guys!  Any Radar users here?  We have a Radar Classic here that’s acting up.  On startup, it’s usually ok for playback and recording, but after a few minutes it’ll stop outputting sound and when record enabled, show all parts of digital hash on the inputs, which will get recorded.  Has anyone seen this before?  It’s been happening for awhile now rendering the machine unusable, but there has been times that I can get hours and hours out of it before this happens...very frustrating.

I pulled all the cards and used deoxit to try to fix the issue to no avail...

Power supply issues, perhaps? How old is the unit?

It’s prob from around 2002 or 2003...it was at their shop to get an overhaul back in 2013 from the previous owner, who said he’s never seen anything like I’m experiencing...

How easy is it to replace the PSU in these on my own?  They doing anything special inside that unit?
