I have 8 channel strips from a Raindirk Series 3, all of them seems to be in good shape, but a pair of opamps are missing, and also I would like to check if everything is ok, I still don`t know if I will be selling the channels or making some racks, anyway I will need schematics .

I tried to contact directly with Raindirk, but the only mail address that appear in the web is nick@... (not Cyril), and I have no answer by now... Anybody have the schematics or the Cyril address?

Thanks in advance

Hey cosmonaut,

I can never say enough good things about Raindirks. People like the Three Tenors, The Rolling Stones & a lot of British artists used those desks.  My friend used to have one of the desks that were at Olympic Studios in the late 70's.  I re-capped the whole thing a few years ago and put new 8pin IC sockets to make servicing easier.

Here are some scans of the mic/line channel only. Sorry they are not perfect, but that will help you check & service the channels you have. If you are planning to rack them, you need a good PSU with+/- voltage for IC's, Phantom power and a rail with lesser voltage for the LED's. You should find the info you need on these scans.

Have fun and enjoy the sound of a really good console.

Let's try once more. Take 3.
Will the Schemo show the right way up, this time?

Really thanks Migs 31, I will check first if all of them are working and if I need to normalize anything for having output signal, this channel has no leds, but maybe I need 12V for the relay, will check the schematics!

Edit: If somebody have the rest of the channel strip would be great, with this one I can follow the signal till the insert send, but not the rest...
In this consoles the inserts were normalized on patch?
