Hi, I was wondering what you all think about modifying an RCA OP7 to have direct high impedance outs after the attenuators (~50k ohm), and then sending that into an audio interface and using the preamps in the audio interface (in the high impedance setting ~1M ohm) to make up the rest of the required gain. Do you think that would sound like a transformer balanced tube preamp, or like cheap audio interface preamp? Thanks for your thoughts!
