G’day

As the title would suggest, I am looking for documentation for the Siemens WSW 811-511 Stereo Channel Strip.

I had a look at the wsw.cz website but I could barely make out any of the writing on the schematics due to image compression! 😤

Only recently started posting, so only just getting the hang of posting etiquette. Sorry in advance if this is in the wrong place.
 
Is there an issue with the unit? The mono schematic covers some of what the stereo unit has, but not the MS/XY stage.

I have one, and I know a couple of other people that do too, maybe we can help

Ahh, as of yet I am unsure if the unit has any issues. It still has a lot of the original capacitors inside though, so I’m expecting some faults to show themselves, once I get around to testing it out. The tolerances are crazy though. Most of the electrolytics are rated at between 3 and 5 percent, which must’ve been *so* expensive to do during the 60s.

The reason I want a HQ copy of the service manual/schematics is because I’m planning to do a full restoration of the of the unit, before cutting/fitting it into a 2RU rack. This will be made a whole lot easier if I have the circuit diagrams and service manual of the unit at my disposal. Having an exact copy of the 511 schematic (as opposed to one for the 510) would make me feel a whole lot less stressed about cutting stuff up.
