He died at the age of 74 ,will miss him and his music.

There is a certain mood that only J.J. Cale's music can match. Also, he self-recorded throughout his career and his sonic approach is perfectly suited to his groove, his voice, and his guitar work.

I first got to know him around late 70s. I still have two of his CDs in the car as ''fixed'' item.

A good time to watch the filmed live session from 79 with Leon Russel from Paradise Studios.
Check out the roller skates (I resemble they were called back then) on the piano player's feet...
Totally fell in love with that film the first time I saw it some twenty years ago.
