Hiya some time back I made a stepped daul ladder type input attenuattor 250K, for my home made limiter
It works but thumps loadly every time click up or down,
Would this happen if I might have a break before make type switch?
I wasnt aware at the time there were 2 types.
Ive since read that the make before break is the correct type, theres no indication on the switch its self, so I dont no which one is in there,
I have a new make before break switch ready for the job,but I might already have the right one in there & the thumps could be to do with something else perhaps?

hope I havent confused you too much... many thanks guys.

The schematic calls for 25K, not 250K. This might be your problem.

Haha sorry I meant 25K, too much caffiene I really shouldn't be messing with high voltages.
