I see it uses Neutrik transformers......

Peter
Yes, but If you want to rebuild it, don´t use them!
They are not so good and have Problems with - i don´t have the english word for it- microphonie?! I try to explain the Problem: The transformer can act like a microphon. The same Problem tubes have often...
can someone say the right endlish word for that behavior? (if someone understand my explaination...:) )

@ Jakob:

Take a look at this...
Leslie,

You were very close. The English word for it is "microphonic."
Oh cool...

Tomorrow I will have all the rest of the schematics.
I will upload it then...
Looking to my hands on this 169 manual/schematic... Can anyone help me out? Thanks.
Email send....I think I got it from Leslie so thank him for it.

Hi,

I got one of the 169s and also the complete manual scanned in good quality, with user guides, schematics, PCB layouts and circuit explanations. Haven't used the mixer much, but it is quite good. I fixed it up and had to replace some things - among them 1 input xformer and a broken fader knob. Would you believe that little plastic thing cost 3 times as much as the input xformer??!! Studer replacement parts are VERY expensive. The scanned manual is a huge pdf file of 330 MB. I don't have any place to host it, but if anyone has, I can upload it.

The microphonic transformer is for real.
It is caused by lamination disturbances which change the inductance.
This slight change in inductance can sometimes show up in the audio.
Usually this occurs with a hi Ni core.
If the core is clamped in a stressful manner, things can get funky.

Hey Dave, Jakob, Kubi

Are you serious this is the first time you see this link? I can swear it was already posted here before. :?

For some seconds I had the impression that I was halucinating but it looks like my memory is ok. It was mentioned by Samuel Groner here:

Also added before to the schematics META:
