the panel i ordered recently came out to be the same price as reflected in the software w one exception, the software calculation was missing setup surcharge for using your my own material, $9 i think, even though i checked the box for 'user's material'.

Have you updated the software ? 50 euro seems to be in the right ballpark if you don't use fancy fonts.

50 ? is OK. Most of the time I'm ending with 60-70 ? per panel.
2mm is a little bit thin for a 19" front panel, I would suggest using 3mm at least.

Regarding the Scale-o-matic... I'd seen a cross in the middle of the scale... Please don't do drillings over the cross or any other engravings... this wont work... schaeffer will give you a call "we can't do this" :wink: If you would like to drill the holes yourselfs... no problem... (but be careful with the metal shavings if you drill yourself :roll: )

Hmm.. i just tested this and the cross is really in the middle of the scale
:? and the lettering isn't filled...

If possible... remove the cross in the middle of the scale... if it is not possible schaeffer can't drill holes as far as i know. But you could drill the holes yourself. (but who wants to drill the holes if you send the panel to the engraver?) :wink:

Once you'd done a scale in corel you can resize the scale and it will work for many panel layouts. (it is recommended to export any hpgl 400% bigger and resize it in frontpaneldesigner) Thats because of the polygon calculation or something... circles will look better than.

I haven't yet used your app, Mikkel, but I actually like the cross idea. Maybe make it optional?
