I'm interested in that too (y) , I usually only use it for shrink tubing and I am still working with this whopper😅

Maybe a soldering station with an additional hot air section would be a clever shop upgrade in my case?

I had to open the link in Chrome btw; Firefox was giving a redirection error, saying that it might have to do with cookies. I have to use Chrome without any addons for stuff like this. One would think a site like Aliexpress would be making things easy for people.

I'll also reach out to my nephew to see what he wants after looking at the options. I'm thinking a cheaper corded one with a fairly flexible cord for usability would work, but hey it's his Christmas :)

I do want (and actually need) a SMD capable rework station in the near future. That 858D looks good.

I bought a cheap (chinese) hot air station for reworking SMD. Over about 15 years I've had to replace it once. I guess a simple economic analysis suggests that I could have paid 2x and broke even. 🤔 The old saying about buying quality tools is "buy once cry once".... The second cheap one still works, but these days I only use it maybe once a year, mostly on shrink tubing.
