I was going to start a new Meta that would house software that is valuable to the DIY'er, such as circuit simulators, schematic cadware, PC Board makiing, front panels, dial makers, etc.

But I have two Metas already. Plus, I'm a hardware type of guy.
It would be pretty easy, just edit in links and files.

Maybe this could fit in an already existing Meta.

Any takers?

I would say this should be done in two Metas, one for Mac and one for Windows, Windows software tends to burry Mac stuff when they are combined. Not to mention not many people have a good knowledge of the software for both OSs. It seems like a very useful meta no matter which way you go about it. I will tackle a Mac one if someone else wants to take care of the Windows.

I'll give it a shot, CJ. Sometime this weekend I should have some time to get it started. Any pointers from you regarding Meta management would be appreciated...

Cool!
Just jump in. You can edit any time.
Cut and paste the header off a current Meta, and away you go.
I do not think this will be a huge Meta, so I think Mac and PC can both go on the same sheet.

Here is a lame resistor drawing sheet I threw together for making your own resistors.

You drag and drop the color bands onto the resistor bodies.
It looks like this:

Hey, it's Friday, so lighten up on me already.
