Solid State Logic Beta 500 Series DIY Module

Hello DIYers,    I recently acquired a Beta module from SSL,  very cool kit of bits.    Anybody been playing around with these yet?

Quite surprising a big company doing that king of product,
But I guess in the end it's quite clever even DIY'ers will have the SSL logo on their racks,
even developers while creating the ultimate 500 series tube preamp will have to look to the SSL lettering all day long

Just to add something : I think it's a nice gesture to the DIY community, although I don't really see a really proper use for it.

a nice gesture is a good way of putting it, with a touch of class from SSL.  i see it as motivation to make something cooler, that i will actually use and keep in the studio.
