Hi

I want to share my great experince on built Stereo Mastering Solid State Pultec.

- all stepped controls

- Sowter input transformer

- Carnhill output transformer

-Vintage Windings EQP1A Matched Filter

-Pier Paolo Abate APP 4010 Makeup

-Pier Paolo Abate APP 992 Doa

-External Psu for near to -110db noise floor



The unit sound and perform marvelous!!!



I want to big thanks to Pier Paolo for is great help and for APP4010 makeup and APP992 Doa.

I've built 4 differnt pultec equlizers

all with different makeup stage but is very difficult di describe the big and rich sound that the PPA version have.

I've also used them in a Ian Thompson Bell Poor Man's Pultec (2 and 3 bands versions) with very great results.

Attached some images and some simple analisis of the courve made with Q clone.

First as possible I will post some sound samples.

Thanks to Pier Paolo Abate and Ian Thompson Bell for them great help and them marvelous projects!

If someone need some info I'm very happy to share.
