New caps, measured with a Sencore LC102 within ten minutes, caps were formed the day before at working voltage, leakage readings were good.

maybe this shows why some like BCs? When you get to higher cap values the ESR does not seem to be as important because it becomes low

look at the DA

are HEs the little brown ones?

the Pan FCs I measured had higher ESR that the older HF and HFS IIRC.

I guess I should write on paper a bunch of measurements.

I posted about the BCs because some people like them maybe they like the DA and higher ESR? I know I use PETs instead of polypros for a little blur because of the DA in some builds.

I will look for the manual I believe it is at the sencore site.

hey the nichicon PWs are the little brown ones. Nichicon HEs are black with greyish lettering.

the HEs are SUPER smooth and clear, the PWs are smooth and dark.

I'd like to see how these compare!

I'll second that about the PW's. I remember building a phono preamp in 2003 and testing the sound of different coupling caps in the circuit. The PW's won hands down.
