i recently bought a used ghost mixing desk. it is working but i would like to make some improvements.
first, the power supply. looks not bad but unforgently there is a very loud 80 mm fan inside :-( i tried some quieter ones with less rpm but then the heatsink is getting too hot...
at last i bought a enermax fan with manually adjustable rotational speed and will test heat vs noise  :-\
at the end i don't know if i can use this powersupply because of the noise in my studio. luckily i got some coutant lambda omega 400 switch mode power supply which was built in an ams neve ios module. it has the right voltage & current, 2x 15-24 V / 7 A + 5V for the ghost computer but is a smps.
so my question is does anybody can recommend this power supply???

the other topic is recapping; i ordered nichicon he electrolyte caps for recapping the signal path. at one at a certain point, behind the inserts (see schematic and before the op-amps in the channel output-stage i am unsure if i can put in a cap with a bigger value? stock value is 2,2uF, i got 15uF as a replacement???

are there any experienced tech who can give me some help? ;-)
