Hello Yakob!
Source was AP output at 600 Ohm,
input level +20 db.
Purpose: very high level a/d converter input trafo,
two options: one absolutely symmetric on secondary's
(not like tested J. :) but with some colouration (Igor2)
and another (Igor1)is attempt to make trafo close to J. but with better specs...both designed and wound by IJ.
Now, what can I say?
Trafo's is WOODOO and....very hard stuff!
Not DIY'able in homelab;
and not "hack'able" but...
now I have my first own line transformer and can manufacture
them in small (tens) qty's!!!!
:))))
(for those who see this as simple job: wind your own trafos it is not cheaper even a bit than buy-one only purpose is to get what you exactly need for your application.)

good stuff igor!

do you have a source for lams here in europe? I found a manufacturer in germany but very expensive if you dont buy tons....

steff

Hi there, to all folks: get these specs is really pain.
And for people who search for cheap trafos-leave it,
go and buy Jensens. They done very commercially, but better than
others (manufactured in our days) I had in my hands.
But for some apps I need different trafos than 6110, then only way was manufacture them("diy" not right world here).
Lams aren't problem, bobbins and wires too, problem is TECHNOLOGY. Very complex-and a lot of a tricks on each step.
There's here one German folk (80years old),
who was working on Telefunken plant, and without his help it was impossible.
I have in my plans to make some trafos for selling to cover expenses of this project, and prices will be not high.
What do you think, folks?
