Sony C800G or U67 built - which capsule?

They say it decreases noise by 2db or something .

Anyone have a pukka C800G and can test if this is true by disabling the Peltier element?

Duu.uuh!  Anyone here interested in doing a simple experiment and getting HARD DATA instead of pontificating 

Let's start at the beginning.

Does anyone here have a pukka Sony C800G?

I have 3 immaculate C800G's but I'm not going to entertain the test. the mic is a HOT mic, B+ is high, o/p tx is low ratio, output is LOUD. Unless your recording mosquito's.. no need to worry about noise floor on this mic.

Sony and u67's walk all over c12's and elams in respect to signal to noise ratio.
