Currently building this and about to implement the mods - did any of you figure out the source of the 7C and 7D issues?

Built this implementing all the mods in the doc. Getting a DIYers favourite response on power up: loud humming and burning smell. My PSU is supplying regular +/- 15v and I've made the jumps required for implementing an external PSU.

Anyone who has done this build that can suggest potential areas to focus on? About to start going through the build docs again then will begin a component by component check.
