Does anyone know which bus connectors have been used in Studer 169 desks?
I have one of these on my bench for refurbishing and need to recalibrate everything when the new trimmers are installed. But that´s only possible with channel extenders, which the owner doesn´t have. So I need to DIY them.
thanks

Good luck with that. I've been looking for months with no luck.
I ended up desoldering some spare ones from the desk.
If you find anything, let us know please please.

Hi

I never find those connector since 8 years with my first 169.
No way to cannibalize my bus board, I have a 8x4 version...
I find once a set of extender, I jumped on it !!!  to service mine and a friend's 369.
I never see those again around for sell, this is an unobtainable tool...

So as stated by Warpie, if you have a two bus version you can pull off some bus board connectors at the ninth an tenth position (from left) which is factory fitted to load any configuration (2, 3 or 4 bus)
Just check which one you can remove, I don't remember right now,  should be those that are not fitted at left hand bus board, you don't want to remove those who connect input modules

Then you can build an extender. Have a search to a post from Roginator and 169 here, you should find some pic of his DIY extender.

Best
