Hey

I am looking for Studer 961/2 bus cable, that allows me to take out a channel and workon it. The service manual says its official part number is 1.228.322. Any suggestions where I can get one to three of those or how to build my own?

Hi

Studer offered extender for all product, from late 80' till the end they use DIN41612 connectors for all modular rack/frame eurocard (tape deck and console) as consoles modules and their connection to bus board.

You may find some extender from Studer eventually, but usually expensive ...

It's easy and cheap enough to build them yourself, just catch connectors and 2.54 ribbon cable
Should be OK for occasional work.
If you think you'll use them often, mounting connector as securing the cable to small pcb (or blank eurocard pcb) is the way to go. You'll easy find 100x160(euro) proto board from Roth with footprint for 41612

Cheers
