Studio Projects C4 mods, Behringer B-2 mods, pics inside

I have a pair of original SP c4's(original owner) I am getting intermittent sputtering on one of them.
Any alterations to these while I trouble shoot?
Any schematics?


Also have an original Behringer B-2(not the pro version).
Can anything be done with this? Looks like wima caps in there(good, bad?).
I have already removed the inner of the two screens, opened up the highs a bit.

Behringer B-2 mod:
Just swapped out the top(hidden under the capsule) .001uf ceramic for an SBE 418P Orange Drop .001uf.
In my un-scientific test singing Little River Band "Cool Change" the mic seems smoother, less harsh.

Maybe I'll give Todd Rundgren or Steve Winwood a shot next.
