F22 Mic from AliExpress. Is it any good? What is it based on?

About good microphones. If you want something in the style of the U87...U67fet, right now there is an attractive discount on the AKG P420. You have it in a few days in France and you can easily modify it to your taste. Very performing, versatile, you can use it in all your specific applications, for groups or soloists, in different setups.
I'm thinking of buying another one myself.

Besides that, I have a capsule from Ali that does not sound bad (I don't know if it's K67 or K87 style) and if it's not good enough i can go for this 77JC

Although I was initially skeptical about the usefulness of a (T)F22 from Ali..., I reconsidered my position. A good microphone can be obtained from it, with ingenuity, work and better components.

No, unfortunately not. Only the SC450 USB has a (one-sided) LDC. The XLR version of the SC450 has an even a better capsule.

Not quite right, my favorite tip was clearly the SC450 in the XLR version and possibly the USB version of it. In my opinion, you also paid too much for the SC440. That's probably because they're much cheaper here in Germany. I would pay less than 20 for a complete SC440 in very good condition.

I suspected that for this money 440 cannot have LDC!
Here I can find a used one for 20 euros with shipping included.
I was already glad I was taking cheap capsules.
In all seriousness, I like the SC-450 xlr and with a DC/DC converter, plus small modifications, the jFET's re-BiAS can be turned into a great mic for some sources/scenarios.

I have two modified ones and I'm looking for a third cheap one on second-hand sales sites
By the way, the future mod for 1100 will be a variable de-emphasis circuit

We will use the body/headbasket, stock PCB(s) with some parts, improve the schematic, add a 47 or 12 capsule and better components.

I would buy the 26 core-48 version, it already has the good electronics.
I think that the stock capsule of the 34 variant cannot offer quality at such a price.
