Sorry for the headache

As we're talking about Germany, has anyone tried a mic from : http://www.urton-microphones.com/ ?
Any info about the capsules used ?

ok thanks !

I've only tested MBHO small diaphragms (excellent), and CK12 clone(nice) , but :"The sound of the M2 will be strongly related to that of the original vintage Neumann U47" does it use  a K47 or M7 type capsule ?
MBHO  also ?

I never heard the Urton M2. But beeing the successor of the Horch - which I did use a few times - I would say it is in the U47 ballpark except for the highs which are much more present when using the Horch. The mic seems to be a bit more responsive to transients compared to a U47. I don't know if this is related to the electronics. The website says they are using a membrane with 4 micron thickness. This could explain the difference as this is almost half the thickness of a K49.

ModernMics did some videos. Don't know if you seen them already:

I was not aware of them, sorry.
The only "U47" I ever heard in real was the Voxorama and it sounded incredible!!!

Yes,  the voxorama has a Thiersch M7 (probably mylar) and an VF14fet emulation or VF14 russian glass tube emulation
you have nearly the same design in the Flea U47 but it uses an EF12 or UF14
Thiersch red and blue line capsules are very nice M7 recreations (no preference between red and blue)
i've tried the Bees neez M7 and i was a bit disapointed ( very dark) , maybe a bad one , i've returned it and changed it for a K7 (lot better)
i've heard that Dale produces a good one but never tried
I've seen that Poctop is on the way also ....
