Studio Electronics has removed the message and are back to "normal"

Sometimes they have server issues also. Sounds like a one man operation with maybe the wife doing the books.

I use them mostly for potentiometers for guitar amps.

Wow, I guess we are now in the 'unforeseeable' future!

Here today, gone tomorrow (the message that is)...

No kidding about the high prices! Over $20 for an OPA2134?!
yeah...sometimes he's the only one with something you can't get but it's nice to know they're legit when you need something.... Probably the Burr Brown vs TI name printing making those so high. 🤷‍♂️ ...some people like certain names for whatever reason..... iirc if he even does sell something in production it isn't that over the top...but it's been a while since I've looked around...

Some more UK options alongside what's already been mentioned.

Although they specialise in CCTV, I've had good results in the past finding obscure NOS transistors - that tested well - from Cricklewood Electronics in London:

If you're looking at Farnell, worth looking at CPC too as they sell some things slightly cheaper (particularly switches):

When it comes to buying direct from manufacturers, I've also had great results with low minimum orders on pots from Omeg (https://www.omeg.co.uk), and knobs from Sifam (https://www.sifam.co.uk).
