Hi Guys,
I am wanting to build a 24 channel summing mixer based on Gustavs majestic buzz but have it 24 channel
(adding in 8 more 22k on each channel)
but also wanting to integrate a monitor section using most of the mackie big knob functions but a little simpler.
Monitor section to include 3 speaker outs, mic and talkback level with headphone out, mono button, mute button, 3 input source selection buttons and also an LED read out or possibly a VU meter whatever is easier.
Would anybody be able to interject any thoughts into this on how to go about getting as clean a signal path as possible please.
I am also thinking about doing direct outs of all my mic pre's to goto the DAW, so this monitoring section would be for
a. doing live recording down to DAT or tape
b. be able to monitor from both source and through interface
